I hate bars, but not this one! First went in March to see Reverend Horton Heat. It was an awesome place for a gig! Really enjoyed the dark ambiance and decor. Drinks were strong, but service and taste will vary depending on bartender. They have a decent sized patio with seating and eats. For food they had a burger stand. Not sure if it was the alcohol, but those burgers were damn tasty!! It was $13 for a Burger with Chips. On another night we went there was a pizza stand with $10 personal pizzas. A little soggy, but flavor was great. Hope this place never changes!

huge shout out to Alex's bar. Thank you for holding our ASK FOUNDATION events all the time we appreciate the support bringing the keenramps and the raffles and raising money to help us build a new skate park on the west side. Thank you so much that's awesome venue has indoor and outdoor with great air conditioning on the inside so you won't be disappointed. Have a great day and love you guys

Chill spot. To be fair I went for a show a friend was having, so I had a drink and absorbed to atmosphere. I don't remember what the drink was, but it had some punch to it. Sound system was rocking, the folks were real cool. All in all hand a good experience. Side note, I get everywhere on time so parking was not an issue, there is a small lot with street parking though.

We played a show here during a NOFX merch event. We were pleasantly surprised to find that every punk in the crowd signed up to do our bingo. Maybe they just stayed for the prizes, but then again, they sang back every lyric during our set. Thanks Alex's Bar!

Went on a Friday night to see one of my favorite Local bands.. great beer selection & the service at the bar was very quick! Security was very professional as well! There was an outdoor area / smoking patio & they were selling freshly made pizza from a mini pizza oven..We had two! It was that good! Overall we had a very nice time and would def come back again!

I love this place! Always great bands playing! Plus the prices on the drinks aren't too expensive. Try the whiskey sour!

I came here last week to see several cover bands--Say It Ain’t Weezer, Santeria (Sublime tribute), Everything Zen (Bush tribute), & Not No Doubt--and they all sounded amazing. I felt safe being here on my own and had so much fun! Security was chill, the crowd was jovial, and the bartenders were consistently kind and attentive. The drinks were well-made and didn't taste watered down, and the bathrooms were clean. I absolutely loved the vibe of this place. :) I typically hate bars, but this is easily the best one I've been to. Edit Feb 8th: I still love this venue so far, but my last visit was disappointing in that the security was being rude the whole time, to everyone. He was on a power trip. He wasn't going to let someone in that was clearly above 21, but their ID had expired. If it weren't for the vibes and the staff inside, he would have ruined my group's mood. Please get rid of him lol. 🚮
